Western blot was performed using Anti-H3K18ac Recombinant Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Product # 712888) and a 17 kDa band corresponding to H3K18ac was observed across the cell lines tested. Acid extracts (30 µg lysate) of HeLa (Lane 1), PANC-1 (Lane 2), 3T3-L1 (Lane 3), PC-3 (Lane 4), and A549 (Lane 5) were electrophoresed using Novex® NuPAGE® 10 % Bis-Tris gel (Product # NP0301BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23001) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (1:250 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27036, 1:5000 dilution) using the iBright FL 1500 (Product # A44115). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Novex® ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Reagent Kit (Product # WP20005).
